Bullying No Way
The theme this year is “Small Acts, Big Impact.” Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference — a friendly smile, including someone in a game, offering a helping hand or simply taking the time to listen.
Small acts. Big impact. Be yourself, be kind, and help others feel they belong.

Our Foundation to Year 2 students celebrated Bullying No Way Week by creating a sea-life collage of fish, jellyfish and sharks. We explored how we can all be different, unique and special, while still belonging together. Students discussed the importance of including others and showing kindness.
Students in Years 3–6 discussed the small acts they can do to show kindness. They shared their ideas and created posters to encourage others to spread positivity and help everyone feel valued, included and welcome.

Accompanying the Bullying no way week work was our Multi-age activity from earlier in the year where we did a unit of work in EQ classes learning about the impact of kindness on bullying. We also learnt that Bullying is BOO! (Being Mean, On purpose, Over and again).

Students worked in multi age groups across the school to create an Anti-Bullying wall display which is positioned out the front of the canteen, Check it out!

3/4 Trent Barrett and 5/6 Mortimer Shield has been postponed.

🎨 WODONGA DISTRICT ARTS FESTIVAL IS NEXT WEEK! 🌟

The countdown is on! Over 2,000 students from 12 schools will showcase their incredible talents in the Wodonga District Arts Festival at Galvin Hall, Wodonga Senior Secondary College.

📅 Tuesday 11 – Friday 14 August 2026
🕥 Concerts: 10:30am & 12:30pm daily
🚪 Gates open: 15 minutes before each concert
🖼️ Arrive early to enjoy the Visual Arts Exhibition before taking your seat.

🎟️ Audience Entry: $5 per person (cash or card at the door)
💜 Keep your program for free re-entry if you're attending multiple concerts.

The entry fee helps support the festival, including equipment hire and staff coordination, making this long-standing community event possible.

We can't wait to celebrate the amazing creativity and talent of our local students. See you there! ✨
