I am currently a third year Science student, majoring in Physics, with a double minor in Chemistry and Math. Operating in the Wodonga region, I am offering one hour, private tutoring sessions in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to highschool students currently completing years 10 through 12. My lessons focus on gaining a deeper understanding of these subjects by;
1) Laying a fundamental mathematical foundation onto which we build onto more advanced mathematical skills. Mathematics is the universal language of Science, and serves as a powerful tool to describe and understand the world around us. Working on the fundamental logic and axioms that makes math work, follows through into comprehending more complex fields such as calculus and linear algebra.
2) Developing critical thinking skills to aid in exam and university preparedness. Through the use of real world examples, we start to develop the type of critical thinking skills that allow for solving novel problems encountered not only in exam settings, but also further into university and beyond. Critical thinking is crucial for success in any scientific field. I am fully up to date with Covid immunisations, with a current Victorian Working with Childrens Check.
