✨ Yesterday we celebrated National Educators Day and the incredible team and our incredible team at Kids on Campus.

This year's theme,"The Future Starts With Us," reflects what we see every day in our service. Through meaningful relationships, thoughtful learning experiences and genuine care, our educators help children build confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belonging.

At Kids on Campus, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to nurture development, support wellbeing and inspire a lifelong love of learning. It is these everyday moments that help shape bright futures for the children and families in our community.

To recognise the dedication of our team, we shared a special morning tea and took time to celebrate the passion, creativity and commitment our educators bring to their roles each day.

Thank you to our amazing educators for creating environments where children feel safe, valued and empowered to grow, explore and thrive. The future truly starts with you. 💛

Burst photos just add to the depth of the cold felt by the team in our Fight MND Fundraiser!

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our Fight MND Fundraiser! We've raised $592 so far, and got to saturate our lovely staff.

Getting dunked with icy water buckets on a freezing and foggy day was a lot of fun - we're sure they agree!

A little excursion with a lot of excitement ✂️

After spending time exploring their own mini salon setup in the childcare room, our Kids on Campus students headed over to the salon at Wodonga TAFE to see the real thing.

There were lots of smiles (and a few very serious salon faces) as the children sat in the chairs, looked around the space, and got familiar with the salon environment. They were especially fascinated watching the TAFE students style hair on mannequins — taking in every brush, curl and spray along the way.

A lovely afternoon of exploring, observing and pretending to be hairdressers for the day 💇‍♀️✨

Great news, racing fans! 🚗🚲
Work on upgrading our bicycle track has now been completed. Now the children can run, race and wheel around the "big yard" to their hearts content. A much loved feature of our outdoor spaces, we are hearing rave reviews from the children every day.

Interested in checking out all our awesome facilities? Take a look at our website to find out how you can book in a tour.

✨ Celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Day✨

At Kids on Campus, we believe kindness isn’t just a value, it’s a skill children learn through meaningful experiences every day. When children see and practise kindness, they develop empathy, build stronger relationships, and gain confidence in themselves and their place in the world. These are the foundations of lifelong social and emotional wellbeing, and we’re proud to nurture them from the very start.

This week, our rooms were absolutely buzzing with thoughtful moments:
💛 Staff were surprised with a special morning tea to recognise the care they bring to our community.
🎵 Louise visited the Rumbalara room, singing “Wash Your Face with Orange Juice” and the crowd favourite “Herman the Worm”—the children loved it so much they asked for encores!
🎨 Yakuwa children crafted handmade shakers as gifts for the Amaroo room.
🖼️ Amaroo children painted beautiful artworks for Amy and Louise.
👐 Rumbalara children supported their neighbours in Yakuwa by helping set up sensory play experiences.
🧡 Kinder made our cook Rhiannon’s day with handprint art, a custom apron, and a special plaque they designed just for her.

From tiny hands to big hearts, kindness filled every corner of our centre this week.
We hope you can feel the warm-and-fuzzies through the screen! 💫
