Our Upper Primary had a fun sing-along with Mel and Meg from Queens of Song this afternoon. The duet is in town for a community concert at the Shire Hall this Saturday. They kindly gave our students a fantastic opportunity to learn two songs that will be performed on the night, and they also learnt to sing in a round. Thank you โ€œQueens of Songโ€ and our Winton Shire Council for a great musical experience. See you on Saturday!

๐ŸŒฌ๏ธโš™๏ธ Our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students have been investigating engineering principles and wind technology, inspired by the windmills and turbines we see in our local landscape.

Using different materials, students designed and tested their own wind-powered creations to explore some big questions: How can wind energy be transformed into movement or electricity? Which materials and designs work best?

Lots of blowing, testing, redesigning and learning as our little engineers put their ideas into action! ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธโš™๏ธ
