Helping kids with homework doesn’t have to be stressful 😊
Here are 3 things that really help:
1. Use positive reinforcement, praise their effort not just outcome.
2. Start with short chunks of time and build up from there.
3. Make sure they actually understand the content

It’s all about progress, not perfection 💛📚

As a teacher, one of the biggest signs I notice when a student isn’t confident with the material is either:

🔸Withdrawing and not participating
🔸Acting out or becoming disruptive

Both behaviours often come from the same place, a lack of confidence, not a lack of ability.

With the right support, kids can rebuild their confidence, re-engage in class, and start enjoying learning again. 🌟
