🌟What a fantastic week at Wiluna Remote Community School!🌟

It's been a busy week, and our students have been nothing short of amazing. They have embraced every opportunity, worked hard, and had plenty of fun along the way!

From sensory play in KindiLink to maths, fashion design, music, sewing and hands-on cooking, our students have been busy learning new skills. KP1/2 proudly made sweet potato and carrot soup from scratch using vegetables picked fresh from our school garden and created their own cafΓ© to showcase their cooking.

Thank you to TAFE for the fantastic Hospitality Career Taster, where our students became chefs for the day and prepared some outstanding dishes. Also, a special thanks to the SIDE teachers, especially Simon for inspiring our students through music and helping kick-start our school band, and to Ron for cooking a delicious kangaroo rendang with our students.

We are so proud of our students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and willingness to give everything a go. Well done, everyone! πŸ§‘πŸ–€

A big thank you to our families, Wiluna Martu Rangers and Ryan for joining us at North Pool for our Term 3 Bush Planner Meeting.

We had a beautiful afternoon on Country, yarning, sharing stories and planning for our Two-Way Science program. This term, our focus is on plants, and we are looking forward to our upcoming bush trips.

We also received some wonderful feedback from our families about what Wiluna Remote Community School is doing well and what our community would like to see more of in our Two-Way Science program.

We finished the afternoon with a lovely cup of tea and some painting about what is happening on Country. We are currently in Yaltapuru (Cold Season).

Thank you again to our community, families, Wiluna Martu Rangers and staff. We are looking forward to a wonderful Term 3 together!
