Congratulations to all students who participated at Quirindi Zone PSSA Athletics Carnival in Tamworth last week. We are so proud of the tremendous effort and determination shown by each student. Your outstanding participation was matched by the wonderful display of sportsmanship, with students encouraging their teammates, showing respect for competitors, and celebrating everyone's achievements. Good luck to Kade as he represents North West a the NSW PSSA State Rugby Championships in Mudgee this week! The state championships are a highlight of the public schools sporting calendar, bringing together talented rugby players from across NSW for a week of challenging competition, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Kade has demonstrated outstanding skills and dedication throughout his training and selection process, and his commitment has earned him the honor of playing at this prestigious event.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Kade to represent our region, build new friendships, and further develop his rugby abilities. We're so proud of you, Kade - the school and community are cheering you on every step of the way! 💛💚🏈

⭐️ What an incredible Celebration Day we’ve had at school today! Thank you so much to all the families, friends, and community members who came along to support our students ~ it was wonderful to see so many special people taking part in the day.
One of the highlights was definitely seeing our students excitedly dressed up as their favourite Book Week characters. From superheroes and princesses to animals and sports heroes, the creativity and enthusiasm made the school come alive.
A very special thank you to our P&C, who went above and beyond to organise a delicious morning tea for everyone.
We are so grateful for the ongoing support of our school community. Days like today remind us of how lucky we are to have such a connected, enthusiastic, and caring group of people.

📚 Celebration Day is nearly here! 📚
We can’t wait to see our school community come together for this special event on Monday, 17th August. We are looking forward to seeing all the book week characters as we celebrate Book Week, Education Week and Grandparents Day.
Don’t forget that the book fair will be also running in the Library ~ it’s a great chance for students and families to explore new books together. Students have the option to win a $10voucher to be spent at the fair. Don’t forget to hand in your colouring in for the competition!
Our P&C will be hosting morning tea, families are asked to please provide a plate to share.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ What an incredible Athletics Carnival! We want to congratulate every student for their enthusiastic participation and outstanding effort across every event. Whether you were sprinting, jumping, throwing, or cheering from the sidelines, your energy and positive spirit made the day a true celebration of teamwork and school pride. A big congratulations to Banksia who were the overall highest point scoring house! A true indication of teamwork with participation points getting them a well deserved win!
🌟 A special mention goes to our Age Champion and runners-up. Your determination, skills, and leadership were on full display, inspiring your peers and setting a wonderful example for our school community. Congratulations on your well-deserved achievements!
👏 We’d also like to sincerely thank all the parents and families who attended, supported, and encouraged our students. We truly appreciate your partnership and commitment to our school.
🙏 Finally, a huge thank you to the dedicated staff. Without you, none of this would be possible!
