Our boys and girls teams proudly represented our school at the Gawler District SAPSASA Basketball Carnival on Wednesday 1st July at Starplex. Both teams had an outstanding day, remaining undefeated and going on to win their finals, a fantastic achievement and a reflection of their hard work and determination.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented our school, showing respect for themselves, their teammates and other schools throughout the day. Their teamwork, sportsmanship and positive attitude were outstanding and contributed to such a successful experience for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to our families and community members for their support with driving, coaching, scoring and cheering on our students. Your encouragement and involvement helped create such a positive community atmosphere and made the day even more special.

Williamstown Primary School Busy Bee 2026

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Marc, Monika, and Luke (Lara’s family) from Sandy Creek Plant Farm for their exceptionally generous donation of plants. Their support enabled every student to participate digging, planting, and caring for our new additions to the school grounds.

We are also very grateful to all the parent volunteers who joined us and helped throughout the morning. It was a highly productive event, filled with planting, sweeping, weeding, and even more planting! Fortunately, the weather remained clear until we had finished our activities.

A special thank you to Kristal, Willow and Luna’s Mum from Maker’s Daughter for capturing the spirit of our Busy Bee event on Friday. The video she created truly showcases the cooperation, teamwork, and enjoyment our students experienced while working alongside volunteers and taking responsibility for our outdoor spaces.

Thank you to everyone for your contributions to making our school environment even more beautiful.

On Saturday, 25 April, four of our upper primary students proudly represented Williamstown Primary School at the ANZAC Day service in Williamstown. Nate and Rory laid a wreath on behalf of our school, while Ava and Emma delivered a reading on the life story of Melva Fromm.
We are very proud of our students’ respectful participation and their contribution to this important community event.
