It’s a great way to see how your child might perform on test day. I recommend taking it under timed conditions so your child gets a real exam experience.

Why Practice Tests Matter
Studies show that taking practice tests is one of the best ways to improve learning and memory. In fact, a well-known study led by Dr. John Dunlosky (Kent State University) found that practice tests are one of the most effective ways to study. Since many students don’t have the chance to teach someone else (another top method), practice tests are the next best thing.

Our Term 1 Mock Exams
Starting on February 8th at Murdoch University, we will run five full-length mock exams. Each exam lasts 2 hours, followed by a 30-minute break, and then a review session to go over answers and clear up any confusion. These exams are designed to look and feel like the real GATE exam, helping students stay calm and confident on the big day.

Real Exam Environment
The mock exams are part of our Term 1 classes. We hold these exams in a real exam hall at Murdoch University, so students can get used to test-day conditions. This helps reduce stress when March 15th comes around. Saturday or Sunday sessions are available, whichever suits your schedule.

Can’t Attend In Person?
If your family is away or your child can’t come in person, we also have online classes on Fridays via Zoom. We still suggest face-to-face sessions for the most realistic exam experience.

Final Workshop
On March 13th, we’ll have a final workshop to review key lessons and strategies. By then, your child will have completed all five mock exams and will be ready to walk into the GATE exam with confidence.
