Our Upper Primary students journeyed into space alongside the characters in We Dream of Space, explored Earth and Space Science through our information report writing, and collected, displayed and analysed data on our research topics in Mathematics.

To finish our learning, we designed and built amazing models in Design and Technologies to showcase everything we'd discovered. We are so proud of the creativity, teamwork and problem-solving our students have shown throughout this unit.

Last Friday, our students proudly represented the school at the Primary School Hockey Carnival. Many were picking up a hockey stick for the very first time, but they took on the challenge with huge enthusiasm, determination, and plenty of smiles.

Their efforts on the day resulted in 1 win, 2 draws, and 1 loss, but the real highlight was the positive spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship they displayed throughout the competition. We are incredibly proud of the way they supported one another and gave their best in every game.

It is wonderful to welcome families into classrooms regularly for our Open Afternoons. This week students enjoyed sharing their learning through a range of hands-on activities, including Junior Primary Puppet Shenanigans, where they created puppets and performed short skits. Middle Primary Time and Body Clock games, and Upper Primary Deal or No Deal. Thank you to all the families who join us and make these afternoons successful!

As part of National Reconciliation Week, our Junior Primary students enjoyed a special storytelling and dot painting experience with guest Indigenous artist Tamy Pond. Students explored First Nations culture through art, storytelling and creativity while learning about the importance of culture, connection and community.
