Earlier this term, our school marked NAIDOC Week through a cultural learning experience with Yooribaya Cultural Experiences – Whitsundays, led by Robbie Congoo. Students learned about the Ngaro people, the Traditional Owners of the Whitsunday Islands, and deepened their understanding of the enduring connection Aboriginal peoples have to Country, culture and community. We thank Yooribaya Cultural Experiences for supporting this important learning opportunity.
