📚 Book Week is Coming! 🎉

Next week is Book Week, and we’re kicking things off with our Book Parade on Monday! 📖✨

Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character, with prizes awarded for the best book-inspired costumes! 🏆📚

Day 2! It was great to see every student jumping on board and giving every activity a go! We had our plastic waste workshop where our Environment Captains spoke about all the ways our school is supporting the environment though rubbish removal, Our Golden Bin initiative and our Tree Planting day. We finished today off with our Bushwahzee. We even celebrated a birthday!

It’s been a great first day on grade 6 camp with all students working hard on our goal ‘resilience’. We are seeing students really believe in themselves and can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Up for auction is a signed Sherrin football, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity and the signatures of current Collingwood Football Club players. This is a fantastic opportunity for football fans and collectors to own a unique piece of memorabilia while supporting our students.

Each year, the level 6 students take part in a Legacy Project, a fundraising event organised by Level 6 students. This year the students are organising a Whole School Fair, all proceeds are going to the Monash Children’s Hospital. All students will participate in the event and are required to bring money so that they can take part in the fun on the day. Some of the amusements and stalls are listed on our poster together with a price list of all activities. Children are encouraged to purchase a pizza lunch on the day.

All rides and inflatables on the day will cost $2 and these have kindly been donated by Aussie Events and Amusements, https://www.aussieeventsandamusements.com.au/.

We are so excited to also share this day with the school community, and we look forward to seeing you after school on this day.

What an incredible day at our first full dress rehearsal for our State Schools Spectacular Dancers! 🌟

Our dancers worked so hard and it was amazing to see all of their dedication, teamwork and enthusiasm come to life on stage. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them!
