We are looking forward to welcoming our Madang fathers, grandfathers, pops and special family members to the school tomorrow!
BBQ picnic lunch 1.30-2pm
Open classrooms & activities 2-3pm

Don’t forget to stop by the Father’s Day Stall while you visit! Lots of wonderful gifts left to purchase. Stall is set up in the cottage, located near the preschool. Thank you to our P&C for making the store available to our students all week 😀

📚Celebrating Book Week 📚

Last Friday, we had author and illustrator Naomi Crew visit Madang Avenue! Naomi shared her stories and artworks with the students. She answered lots of questions and the students left feeling inspired and ready to write their own stories! Congratulations to the lucky students who won a signed copy of her book after each of the sessions 🎉

If you would like to order a copy of Naomi’s book, you can do so by Monday 7th September. She will sign the book and they will be delivered to our school in the coming weeks. Books can be purchased using the order form in the photos attached 😊

Dear Families,
A friendly reminder to place your order forms for our bbq by tomorrow 😀

If you require another order form, please visit the office this afternoon or tomorrow morning or call to have a note sent home with your child. There is only one form needed per family.

📚❤️📚 BOOK WEEK-2026!
Today we held our annual book week character parade and it was SPECTACULAR! 🌟 from parading incredible costumes to singing some of our favourite songs it was a fun filled morning for all! Thank you to all of the families who were able to join us and to our P&C for supplying the slushies! 📸Here are just a few photos from the day-more to come!

Zone Athletics Carnival 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Everything is set for the zone carnival tomorrow - so far still going ahead!

All students travelling by our bus need to be at school by 7.30am to meet Miss Farnham and Miss Cooke under the shelter. The bus will be leaving at 7.40am at the latest.

Please remember to pack lunch, water, something warm, hat and something to entertain while waiting between events.

A canteen will be open for snacks.

If the event should be postponed, we will announce it here.

A fantastic result for our Jnr Soccer team this afternoon! A tough game until the end, with a score of 0-0, even after extra time! Both Minchinbury and Madang played with great skill and gave it their all. We are happy to share the title of 2026 Grand Final Winners! 🌟 A massive thank you to everyone who came to support the team today! It meant the world to the team and coaches 😀

Week 5 at Madang! 😀

This week is Science Week 🧪🧫🔭🔬 and to celebrate, we have booked the team from Fizzics Education to visit the school. All students from Kindy-Yr 6 and our support unit will get to watch a fun show on Thursday!

Congratulations to our Jnr Soccer Team who will play in the grand final match this Friday afternoon! Details of time and location will be released in the coming days. We can’t wait to cheer them on! 🎉⚽️🎉
