Kiind will be available at the Child and Parent Centre Westminster every Thursday afternoon during Term 4, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Kiind can provide support to parents and carers of children with developmental delays, autism or disability. They can help you navigate support services, understand the NDIS and explore available resources, or simply provide a listening ear when you need someone to talk to.

You are welcome to drop in for a chat and find out how Kiind can support your family.

Jumping into fitness with JUMP JAM!

Westminster Primary School welcomed a special visitor in Week 9- Brett Fairweather, creator of JUMP JAM and two-time World Aerobic Champion!

Combining fitness, dance and music, JUMP JAM is a fun way for students to get moving, build coordination and enjoy being active together. Having Brett visit our school made it an extra-special occasion!

What a fantastic effort from our students at this year’s Interschool Athletics Carnivals! Both our Year 1 and 2 students and our senior students worked incredibly hard, showed great sportsmanship and gave every event their best effort.

It was wonderful to see the students’ determination, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the carnivals. One of the biggest highlights was seeing the joy and huge smiles on their faces when they succeeded and achieved their goals. Their hard work certainly paid off, with Westminster taking out first place at both carnivals!

A massive congratulations to all our students for their outstanding efforts and to everyone who helped make the carnivals such a success. Two carnivals, two wins- what an achievement!

There’s something special about lining up for your very first school running race! Our Kindergarten and Pre-primary students had their moment at their own Faction Carnival on Wednesday 23 September, experiencing the excitement of the starting line and the proud feeling of reaching the finish.

A special event for our youngest students, where having a go and cheering on friends mattered just as much as crossing the line. We can’t wait to see these little runners grow in confidence at carnivals to come.

On Wednesday 23 September, our Kindergarten and Pre-primary students enjoyed a special Faction Carnival of their very own. Held separately from the main school event, this carnival gave our youngest students their chance to shine, with activities designed especially for them.

It was a wonderful opportunity to build confidence, have a go, and enjoy being part of a faction team. With plenty of enthusiasm and cheers for their friends, our little athletes showed that school spirit starts early!

Some of the loveliest moments at our Faction Sports Carnival were seeing students cheer for others, congratulate their friends, and celebrate the achievements of others.

Our Faction Sports Carnival was a wonderful celebration of camaraderie, with students cheering on their teammates and encouraging friends across factions.
