Our students have been diving deeper into technology and creativity with the help of our fantastic 3D printers. They've been designing and creating amazing fidget toys, personal totems, and unique designs that truly resonate with their individual stories and interests. 🤩

This hands-on experience not only sparks innovation but also builds on important values like sustainability, encouraging the creation of reusable items that are kind to our environment.

Happy Father’s Day! 🫶

On Sunday, we celebrate and thank all the amazing dads, grandfathers, and father figures in our school community for everything they do. Your encouragement, support, and care mean so much to our students and to our school’s spirit.

Our students and community had a wonderful time at the Father’s Day decorating stall, creating unique gifts and decorations to show just how much their dads are appreciated. It was great to see everyone expressing their gratitude and creativity, making this day even more special.

We hope all our dads enjoy their personalised creations and feel the love from our school community. Thank you for being role models, mentors, and supporters every day! ✨

SASS Week update ✨

We are celebrating SASS Week today with a special morning tea to show our appreciation for our amazing School Administrative and Support Staff! Our teaching staff have gone above and beyond with small gifts to our SASS team. On Tuesday, we all took a trip to France with a French-themed morning tea hosted by our primary staff, and our secondary staff and students got creative making a heartfelt class card filled with appreciation. We also received a special delivery from our DEL, adding an extra touch to the celebrations.

To make the week even more memorable, our principal Mercedes presented each SASS member with a special personalised gift that reflected the dedication and contributions of every individual in the team. This thoughtful gesture was a wonderful way to acknowledge how much they mean to our school. 🫶

📚🎉 What an incredible Book Week—Symphony of Stories! 🎉📚

We’re so grateful to our students, staff, and families for coming together to make this week a wonderful celebration of reading and imagination. The colourful Book Week Parade saw everyone proudly sharing their favourite characters, while our DEAR Open Classroom Afternoon invited families to join us in exploring stories and creating special memories together. Author workshops brought creativity and inspiration, and the DEAR Draw added extra excitement and recognition for our readers.

A special shout out goes to Imogen, who truly took Book Week to another level. She created her own book, Five Little Cats, inspired by the Ten Little… series. Her creativity and initiative are a fantastic example of what makes Book Week so special, encouraging students to connect with stories and make their own mark on the world of books!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Symphony of Stories a week full of joy, learning, and imagination.

🎉 Welcome to Book Week 2026! 🎉

This week, our students and staff are embarking on a journey through all our favourite books and embracing the theme, Symphony of Stories. We’re excited to discover how stories come together to form a beautiful symphony of imagination!

We have a fantastic lineup of activities and events, and we’re looking forward to every moment! To kick off the week, we welcomed our author and illustrator friend Freda for another inspiring workshop, building and creating our very own quirky characters from a range of art materials!

Science Week Wrap Up! 🔬

What an incredible Science Week it’s been at our school! All our students got hands-on with exciting experiments, exploring everything from chemical reactions to physics in action.

Preschool kids were busy conducting the travelling water experiment, discovering how water moves and colours mix in surprising ways. High schoolers had a blast using Tiny Science Lab kits, measuring acids and bases for amazing acid-base reactions, then getting creative with slime to explore the weird and wonderful world of non-Newtonian fluids.

Learning was engaging, messy, and memorable for everyone! 👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬

Science Week Update! 🔬

Our students were captivated by Dr Karl Kruszelnicki’s interactive Science Week webinar. His enthusiasm and passion for science encouraged students to ask brave questions, think critically, and discover fascinating facts about our universe. Dr Karl’s ability to make complex topics accessible and fun has inspired many of our students to see themselves as scientists of the future.

This year’s theme, “Seeds of Science: Nurturing knowledge for all,” celebrates the wonders of science and the curiosity that drives us all to discover, learn, and innovate.

This week, we’re thrilled to dive into the world of science with hands-on activities that spark curiosity and bring learning to life! We kicked things off with an exciting experiment—our student took observing chemical reactions to a whole new level when she combined acidic and alkaline substances!
