Year 4 have been exploring colour and blending techniques in Visual Arts as they experimented with creating beautiful blue gradient backgrounds πŸŽ¨πŸ’™ Using different shades and smooth transitions, students then brought their artwork to life with vibrant poppies as the focal point 🌺✨ Each piece showcased creativity, patience and a wonderful eye for detail. β€œIs it a fact or is it an opinion?” πŸ€”πŸ“š

Year 1 have been busy becoming detectives during reading groups as they explored different statements and worked together to decide whether they were facts or opinions. During writing, students confidently gave it a go by creating their own facts and opinions, sharing their ideas with enthusiasm and creativity ✏️🌟

Hi Mum and Dad, β€œI am a writer!” ✏️🌊🐠

Year 2 were full of smiles this week, especially during writing time 😊 Their faces reflected the pride they felt as they worked hard on their writing pieces about the Great Barrier Reef.
