This evening I was awarded the Meander Valley Business Citizen of the Year Award.

Awarded in recognition of a business that seeks to promote the welfare of others, demonstrated by outstanding involvement and contribution to the community and good causes.

I feel very proud to have received this award and would like to say Thank you again for the nomination, thank you to the Meander Valley community, the families and children who I have cared for over the years. Without your support I would not be able to do what I love doing.

I am a big believer in community and doing what you can to make a meaningful difference, over the years the children and I have spent many hours volunteering at the Westbury Community Garden, Playgym, Community Centre, Library, donated gifts to Deloraine House and my personal favourite our Christmas lights. It brings so much joy to me seeing you all stop by each year to see them.

So from the bottom of my heart, Thank You x
