Students, parents, and Pure Land College community members gathered at our school last Saturday to celebrate Buddha’s Birthday through the beautiful Bathing Buddha Ceremony.

We were deeply honoured to welcome Venerable Wudao and other Venerables, who shared Dharma talks filled with wisdom, compassion, and inspiration.

It was a joyful and meaningful morning, and we are grateful to everyone who joined us in this special celebration. 🙏

The Bathing Buddha Ceremony will be held this Saturday in the Hall at our Westbrook campus. We warmly welcome everyone to join us in this special ceremony — not only to bathe the Buddha, but also to cleanse the worries and impurities from our hearts and minds.

💕This Monday morning, our whole school came together in the Chanting Hall to celebrate Mother’s Day with love, gratitude, and joy.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Students from each year level prepared heartfelt performances to express their appreciation and best wishes to their mothers. One of the most touching moments of the celebration was the traditional tea offering ceremony, where students knelt to serve tea to their mums as a sign of respect, gratitude, and love.💖💖💝💝
The students also presented handmade gifts, carefully created with their own hands and filled with sincere affection.
The celebration ended with smiles, warm embraces, and happy group photos, leaving everyone with beautiful memories to treasure.
💕Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums in our community!💕

to take up a part time contract position for terms 3 & 4 2023.

Teaching Requirement:

§ Maths Year 5

§ Technology Year 5 and Years P-2

2 days – flexibility in timetable to schedule these days. Exact days to be negotiated with the successful candidate.

Start date: Monday 10 July

Finish date: Wednesday 6 December 2023

As part of our PE program this Term, Ming-De students are joining students from all over Australia in the Jump Rope for Heart Program that promotes health and wellbeing of the children.
