🚨 IMPORTANT! 🚨

Sport choices for Term 4 will open at 6:00pm today and close at 6:00pm Friday 11 September.

Sport choices are made through student School Bytes accounts: https://online.schoolbytes.education/sport/

Buses will cost $60 for the term and are to be paid online through School Bytes.

Payments are to be made immediately after the sport has been selected as per the following process:

➡ Students will make a sports choice through their School Bytes account.

➡ School Bytes will hold their choice for 15 minutes.

➡ If payment is not made within 15 minutes for a bus sport, or any sport requiring payment, the student's choice will become invalid and will need to be reselected.

➡ Bus/paid sports should be selected with parent involvement to allow for payment at time of selection.

📚 YEAR 9 ENGLISH | ROMEO & JULIET 🎭

Last week, our Year 9 English students put a fun twist on their study of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet with a modified game of ‘Guess Who?’.

Students put their knowledge of the play to the test as they worked to identify characters from their Term Three text.

A great way to bring Shakespeare to life in the classroom while having a little fun along the way! 👏

⚽ U16 Girls Lauren Colthorpe Cup ⚽

During Week 6, our U16 girls competed in the Lauren Colthorpe Cup.
The girls fought hard in both the semi-finals against Warners Bay High School and the 3rd place play-off against St Mary's High School, narrowly going down 3-2 in both matches.

A fantastic effort from the girls, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. 👏💙 See less

🎓 Year 12 Retreat Week 🎓

Year 12 have been busy developing their HSC examination skills during our annual Retreat Week, led by the Ignite team.

Throughout the week, students have had the opportunity to focus on independent study, strengthen their exam preparation and enjoy some fun year group activities together before heading into their HSC examinations.

💙 SASS RECOGNITION WEEK 💙

Last week, we celebrated and recognised our wonderful School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS), along with our other non-teaching staff at WWHS.

Our SASS and support staff are an essential part of our school community. They support our students, teachers and families, maintain our buildings, grounds and technology, and help keep our school running smoothly each and every day.

They are often the first friendly faces to greet you as you walk through our doors and the helpful voices you hear at the other end of the phone.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible SASS and support staff for everything you do for our school community. 💙
