Their beautiful answers remind us just how important it is to have people around us who make us feel loved, safe and supported.

At Little Kindy West, we want our families to know that no matter what, our team is here for you. Whether you need someone to listen, a helping hand or simply someone to check in, you are never alone. 💛

🌟 Educator Appreciation - Miss Harmony 🌟

Thank you for always stepping up and looking after the room, even when you’re not the Room Leader. You notice the little things that need cleaning or organising and get them done without being asked.

You’re always willing to come in and help cover when someone is away, making sure the children and the team are supported. You also put so much effort and creativity into art and craft, making posters and helping make the room feel welcoming and inviting for the children. 🎨💛

You’re always on top of upcoming events and love getting involved in making sure everything is organised and ready to go. You also put a lot of effort into keeping up with our QIP and looking for ways to contribute and help improve our centre.

You’re always willing to help, learn and take on more responsibility. All those little things you do each day really add up and don’t go unnoticed.

🌟 Educator Appreciation – Mr Rosish 🌟

Today we’re celebrating Mr Rosish! 💙

Although he’s one of our more recent educators, he has already become such a valued part of our Little Kindy West family. The children absolutely adore him, and it’s so lovely to see the connections he has built with them in such a short time. 🥰

Mr Rosish is always asking questions, getting involved and genuinely engaging with the children. He’s never afraid to get down on their level, join in their play or find new ways to extend their learning. He puts so much effort into everything he does, and it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed! ✨

Thank you, Mr Rosish, for your kindness, patience, enthusiasm and for always going above and beyond for our children. We’re so lucky to have you on our team! 💙

👕💛 FREE CHILDREN’S CLOTHING AT LITTLE KINDY WEST! 💛👕

We’ve also been very generously donated a beautiful collection of clean children’s clothing for our Little Kindy West community! 🥰

There are clothes available in a range of sizes from 0–5 years, for both boys and girls, with a larger selection of boys’ clothing. 👖👚🧸

These clothes are completely FREE for families who may need them or simply find something their little one would love. 💛

We know how quickly children grow, and how expensive keeping little wardrobes stocked can be, so we’re more than happy to pass these items on to families in our community rather than letting them go to waste. ♻️✨

📚💛 FREE CHILDREN’S BOOKS AT LITTLE KINDY WEST! 💛📚

We’re so excited to share that Little Kindy West has been lucky enough to receive a wonderful donation of children’s books for our community! 📖✨

These books are now FREE for families in our community to take home. 🏡💕

We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of reading, and we’d love for these books to find loving homes where they can be enjoyed, shared and read together.

📚 If you’re a Little Kindy West family or part of our local community, please feel free to come in and choose a book (or two!) to take home.

Why do we have Circle Time every day?

Circle time is an important part of our daily preschool routine and provides children with a calm, predictable start to their learning. It helps children develop a sense of belonging, build confidence, and strengthen their communication and listening skills.

During circle time we discuss the day of the week, the weather, the date, and any special events. We sing songs, read stories, explore new concepts, and encourage children to share their thoughts and ideas with the group.

These daily experiences support children’s language development, early literacy and numeracy skills, social and emotional wellbeing, and their ability to take turns, listen to others, and participate in group learning. Circle time also helps children prepare for school by encouraging independence, routine, and active engagement in learning.

Every day may look a little different, but our goal remains the same to create a positive, engaging environment where every child feels valued, included, and excited to learn.

🌱 From garden to plate! 🥬🍔

Our Preschool children and Miss Asmita were so excited to harvest the spinach they have been growing and caring for in our veggie garden. The children proudly picked the spinach and took it to Miss Amanda, who washed and prepared it ready for lunch.

We grew our spinach to help the children learn about where food comes from, how to care for living things, and the importance of healthy eating. Experiences like this also encourage responsibility, teamwork, and a sense of pride as the children see the results of their hard work.

At lunch time, the children enjoyed their homegrown spinach on their burgers, and we were also able to share some with our Toddler children so they could enjoy the fresh spinach too! 💚

What a special learning experience for everyone involved! ✨
