ππToday our SRC students visited a local aged care facility, sharing games, music, creativity and companionship. These activities were all driven by their own ideas and initiative.
The smiles captured today speak volumes. The connection, joy and kindness shared between residents and students is something truly special.
Thanks Mrs D and Mr L for allowing this great initiative to happen. ππ

Wacky Wednesday was the theme for our Year 6 fundraising day! ππ
Students dressed as teachers, teachers dressed as teachers, crazy hair, crazy socks, and lots of laughter. It was a great day supporting our Year 6 students and creating plenty of smiles along the way. π¨βπ«π©βπ«

Our Year 6 students had their second last Peer Support session last week and itβs been incredible to see how much theyβve grown throughout the program.
Theyβve built meaningful connections with students across the school, developing confidence in themselves, and shown real leadership in the way they communicate and support others. Itβs been especially rewarding to see all students step outside their comfort zones, learn more about who they are, and take pride in the positive impact theyβre having.
With one final session this week, we look forward to celebrating everything theyβve achieved and the positive connections theyβll carry forward.

Our Stage 3 Wallumai Warriors had an excellent time learning all about traditional Aboriginal tools, weapons and cultural items. They did an excellent job at creating their own bracelets by weaving dried leaves with emu feathers. To top it all off, they also got to taste some delicious bushfood, made using Indigenous ingredients, including a jam made from wild raspberries and a pesto made from Warrigal greens and macadamia nuts!
Thank you to Koori Kinections and City of Ryde for having us ππ
