Student success: Sharon’s inspiring journey with IAT - Construction🌟

When Sharon arrived from Sri Lanka in October 2023, finding employment in Australia felt like an uphill battle despite her strong qualifications and experience.

Sharon discovered microcredentials at the Institute of Applied Technology Construction and completed four courses from the Contract Administration discipline. She filled critical skills gaps, built confidence and learned how to frame her overseas experience for the Australian job market.

Sharon has since landed a role as a Junior Estimator and is thriving! 🎉

We’re proud to highlight Sharon as an IATC graduate, combining technical know-how with soft skills, and showing how these microcredentials gave her the tools to succeed.
