Labor WA Government plans to relocate top performing academic selective program from Perth Modern School into a high-rise building in the middle of Perth CBD. After such a tumultuous first semester at Perth Modern, it was lovely to celebrate our school..the traditions, community and the fact students will be not be moving.

Visual Influences on Legislation: Culture Jamming the Perth Modern School relocation proposal
Many of us were lucky to attend this thoroughly interesting event at UWA . Presented by Professor Camilla Baasch Andersen, UWA School of Law, and artist Desmond Mah, it examined a new way for law and visualization to intersect.

Dear Premier Mark McGowan, Perth Modern School community thanks the Government for listening!
We listened and now we've acted.
WA's new Inner City College will be located at Kitchener Park.
And Perth Modern will remain where it is, as the State's only fully selective academic school.
It's all part of a transformation of Subiaco Oval, a plan that'll create thousands of new local jobs to revitalise the area.
Starting in 2020 with the first Year 7 students, the new school will eventually take in around 2,000 students by 2025.
We're getting on with the job, and we're moving forward.
