Tetra pack printing is a versatile printing process that allows you to create all kinds of images!

There are just a sample of some prints from a Wadjemup (Rottnest Is) session we did a while back.

It might surprise you to know that tetra packs aren’t recyclable because they are made up of layers of different materials - foil, cardboard and polymers so they are light weight and durable.

So we can at least give them a repurposed life as a printing medium. Come and explore with us!

Our MAKAs have settled into some cute projects this term and it’s lovely to see them so proud of their creations! These have been weeks in the making, made in between other activities but always coming back to tinker with the design or launch into another element they’ve been inspired by.

Love making for this reason - feeling out the idea, trying different ways to take what’s in your head into your hands, missing the mark but trying again, then celebrating the outcome as proof of the process it took to get there!

Reclaiming wood pallets! It’s amazing what we often throw away hey? So glad we can make use of precious wood for our projects. What do you think of our bee hotel?

Trying the dowel method of wood joining is just one of the things we do in our Maka sessions.

It’s a tricky skill to learn but once you’ve practiced a few times and gained a bit of confidence it can be a total game changer with your woodworking!
