January 5, 2026.
Five years have passed since the great tennis coach Bob Brett left us.

In quiet moments, we still find ourselves guided by his words and the example he set —
lessons that continue to push us forward.

The values we uphold — GRIT, PASSION, and FRIENDSHIP — are the most important messages Bob Brett left with us.
They are principles he lived by, and they continue to light our path, now and into the future.

Bob Brett’s legacy lives on not only through his teachings, but through the champions he helped shape —
Boris Becker, Goran Ivanisevic, Marin Čilić, and Johan Kriek — all Grand Slam champions.

He also shared a deep and meaningful connection with Japanese tennis.
Bob served as a coach and mentor to Shuzo Matsuoka, who reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals,
and later contributed as a coach to the Shuzo Challenge, an elite training program founded by Matsuoka to develop young talent.
Kei Nishikori, one of Japan’s greatest players, is also a graduate of the Shuzo Challenge.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who co-hosted our charity events together with our Foundation.
Your support and shared commitment helped carry Bob Brett’s values forward.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who have so generously supported our Foundation through their donations.
Your kindness and generosity mean more to us than words can express.

His impact on tennis — and on people across generations and borders — will never be forgotten.

We extend our sincere thanks to .central.perthwa, .west, and for their support in providing the venue for our annual charity event.
