A go-to booklet created for 2 topics that my student will be examined on in her next exam 🤩🤩.
This booklet aims to provide a step by step guide on how to do everything associated with fractions and decimals.
Being a pre service secondary teacher, I know and understand how important it is to provide structure for those students who are visual learners and need it most! This allows them to feel accomplished when completing a process they have found so hard to understand.

Yesterday’s smiles with Savannah!
Savannah is in year 3 and we are focusing on our timetables. She absolutely smashed her 3x, 4x AND 6x completing all of them in under 30 sec each time with her mix and match cards.
She has the sweetest smile and always brightens up my Mondays!!! I absolutely love tutoring her! 👩🏫👩🏻💻😁💓

Here is a snippet of my student Alex! I have been tutoring Alex for 2 years now, we started around the end of year 3 and now he is in year 5. Alex knows his timetables through 1-12 like a mathematician!!! From doing flash cards and timing him he now can do them all in under 5 min 1x-12x!! Proud is a understatement!
This skill has allowed me to extend and challenge Alex to some harder equivalent fractions! Each lesson I tell him that you can do anything you put your mine to! He tackles every challenge I set for him and comes out like a champion.
I am super proud of him and how far he has come!! It’s only up from here. 🧑🏻💻 🧮👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👩🏫

These two little cuties received their maths packs today! Audrey-year 3 and Josiah-year 1 put a smile on my face every lesson!. These packs are going to assist them so much during online learning, we are so excited to use the whiteboards during the lesson. Such a simple yet effective strategy to keep students especially the younger ones engaged in the lesson and learning constantly! 👏🏼✖️➕👩🏻💻👩🏫
