Hi, I’m Sarah 👋

I started The Make & Metal Co. because I wanted to create something slower.

Workshops where we’re not rushing.
Not scrolling.
Not trying to be “productive.”

Just sitting at a bench, working with our hands, and letting our thoughts settle.

There’s something about shaping metal that steadies you. The filing. The sanding. The small adjustments. You can’t hurry it. You have to feel it. And while your hands are busy, your mind gets space to breathe.

I’ve watched people arrive tightly wound and leave softer. Not because anything dramatic happened. Just because they had time. Tools. Focus. A moment to themselves.

Making is grounding.
It’s quiet confidence.
It reminds you you’re capable.

That’s why I do this. ✨
