Make Pay Parity a Priority ✅

Continuing to Start Strong and ‘PINKING’ it for PAY PARITY at the Riverina Murray Preschool Alliance end of year director’s network meeting.

We are continuing to send a clear message to remind Chris MinnsCourtney HoussosNSW Labor it is disgraceful that our wonderful teachers and educators across 700+ NSW community preschools are paid 30% less than our colleagues in the State Public School system.

Equal qualifications NEEDS to equate to equal pay regardless of the education and care sector we choose to teach in.

The teachers and educators at our not-for-profit community preschools build strong relationships with our children, families and our communities, we are dedicated to providing education and care excellence, and most importantly we keep children SAFE - the data identifies this.

We need Premier Chris Minns to be a ‘responsible person’ and provide adequate funding to community preschools so that we can continue to attract and retain our experienced staff.

Our children and families want the NSW community preschool model to thrive for decades to come!

Save our Preschools !!!

We’re investing $100 million to help community preschools expand their hours and cater for more children.

We want it to be easier for working families to access trusted, quality care from the providers they have an existing relationship with.

So our investment will help not-for-profit providers extend their operating hours beyond 9 am-3 pm, open more days, and expand the age range of children they serve from birth through to school age.

We believe every child should have access to the best possible education, regardless of their age, and this investment will help community preschools deliver that.

It’s about improving a family’s access to quality early education, close to home and at the hours that suit them.

A maternity leave position has arisen to join our dedicated team at West Albury Preschool.
We are seeking a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator and available for 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday for Term 4 of 2025 and Term 1 of 2026 with the possibility of continued employment in 2026.
