💥 Warning: Catapult in Operation 💥
Our back yard Catapult was a flying success with projectiles enthusiastically launched all over the yard this morning*! After this week's catapult interest, I gave intentionally vague instructions ... 'O.k. let's find toys to make a big catapult' our little engineers blinked twice ... and then SPRUNG in to action! They lead the entire process starting with considering the location, moving around the yard a few times and then carefully sweeping the pavement so it would be on solid grounding, selected well thought out items to create the base and lever, changed items to trial others, adjusted the contraption many times to experiment for the best success and found small and larger balls to catapult out of the bucket - and boy did we launch items! So.much.fun!
*included brief, educational safety guidelines to consider direction of flying items, protecting own face from flying items and checking area for other friends in catapult launch area before catapulting items. No accident reports ✔

Poking, patting, pushing and peeling! The week was Play Dough heavy and boy did we immerse in the sensory and social joys of this experience at Aunty Clair's Family Day Care in Werrington 🤗
