Shannon is a writer and climate advocate sharing her journey in STEM and storytelling.
Meet Shannon – a passionate learner, writer, and climate advocate!
After completing a Master’s in Environmental Science, Shannon is diving deeper into the world of bioremediation and nature-based climate solutions. Her learning journey doesn’t stop at research - she’s weaving these concepts into fiction and considering a PhD to explore them further.
As a limb-different woman in STEM, Shannon is reshaping the conversation around who gets to lead in climate and publishing spaces. Her commitment to inclusive environmental action is both personal and powerful.
One of Shannon’s most rewarding learning experiences came through publishing her novel in verse, A Song for the Earth. The book sparked global conversations and helped her connect with readers from all walks of life, enriching her understanding of climate action through diverse perspectives.
