Huge thanks to the Paradox Freeza team for visiting our school this week as part of their School Tour with SEVEN POUND HALO
Students had a great time connecting with the team, checking out the Street Surfer bus, and learning more about local youth events and opportunities. It was fantastic to see young people engaging through music, activities, and positive community connections.
Make sure you grab your tickets for this Saturday’s all-ages event featuring an incredible lineup of bands from 3pm–8pm.
This is a smoke, drug and alcohol free youth event, with tickets available for $10 at the door.
A great opportunity for young people to connect, enjoy live music, and be part of a safe and inclusive community event.

Today we recognise 🏳️🌈 IDAHOBIT-the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia.
IDAHOBIT is an important reminder that every student, staff member and family deserves to feel safe, respected and valued for who they are. As a Safe School, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated and everyone has a sense of belonging.
Connection and community matter. Groups such as Rainbow Club provide students with a safe and welcoming space during break times to connect with others, build friendships, and know they are supported. These spaces help foster confidence, acceptance and wellbeing for young people across our school community.
Today, and every day, we stand together to promote inclusion, respect and pride in being yourself. Learn more at Minus18

Happy ES Day to our incredible Education Support staff!
Thank you for everything you do to support students, staff, and our school community every single day. Your patience, care, humour, flexibility, and hard work never go unnoticed.
Thank you so much to the teachers for the positive messages, kind words, and appreciation shared for ES Day. Education Support staff play such an important role in the daily life of the school, and it meant a lot to see their work recognised and celebrated by so many staff members. Their messages helped make the day feel genuinely valued and reminded our ES team how much their care, flexibility, humour, and hard work are noticed.

This video was created by our senior student leaders to showcase who they are and the different leadership roles they play across the college.
We’re so proud of the growth, confidence, and leadership this group has shown throughout the year. It’s been great seeing them step up, support their peers, and bring their own ideas and personalities into their roles.
Huge shoutout to all of our senior leaders for the positive impact they continue to make around the school.
A few leaders missed the filming day, catch them in the sequel 🎬
Neighbourhood House and Community Centre Week celebrates the incredible work happening in local places across Australia, recognising the power of connection, learning, and belonging.
This year’s theme, ‘Your Place to Connect’, was brought to life at Iramoo Community Centre as we welcomed community members for a special lunch celebration.
Our students proudly prepared, cooked, and served a delicious entrée, lunch, and dessert, showcasing their hospitality skills and commitment to community. Art students displayed their creative works, music students entertained guests through singing and instrumental performances, and our adult learning class shared beautifully made cupcakes as gifts for attendees.
The event highlighted the strength of community partnerships and the importance of creating welcoming spaces where people can connect, share experiences, and celebrate together.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a meaningful celebration of community spirit and well done to our Art, tech and community hub teams.

Students from Mr Damjanovski’s Politics elective class at Wyndham Central College put their civics learning into action by running a street stall, sharing ideas for positive change on issues that matter to them.
Experiences like this are important because they show students that their voices matter and that they can help shape their communities. It’s also a reminder that politics is all around us, impacting our daily lives through decisions about schools, transport, housing and more, and that everyone has a role to play.
