πΏ Our Learning Spaces Have Had a Refresh! πΏ
We've been thoughtfully updating our learning environments to create inviting spaces that spark curiosity, imagination, and exploration.
From our nature-inspired investigation area, where children can observe, discover, and learn about the world around them, to our interactive small-world play setup designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and storytelling, each space has been carefully curated with the children's interests and development in mind.
These environments provide opportunities for hands-on learning, open-ended play, and meaningful conversations as children explore, experiment, and make new discoveries every day.
We can't wait to see where their imaginations take them next! π

Yesterday we welcomed a very special visitor from First Aid Superheroes.
The children had a wonderful time learning valuable first aid skills in a fun and engaging way. They discovered how to call 000 in an emergency, what information to share with emergency services, and simple ways they can help others when someone needs assistance.
It was a fantastic opportunity to build the children's confidence, awareness, and understanding of how to respond in emergency situations. We loved seeing their enthusiasm and participation throughout the session.
A big thank you to the team at First Aid Superheroes for making such important learning both memorable and enjoyable. πβ¨

Classroom 5 participated in a Road Safety Week Last week π¦πΈ
The children explored traffic lights and road signs, developing their understanding of important safety messages such as βgreen means goβ and βred means stop.β They also learned the importance of staying close and holding hands with a trusted adult when crossing the road, building confidence and awareness in their everyday world.
Through engaging, play-based learning, the children had lots of fun making vehicle sounds and interacting with the road safety setup, strengthening their understanding in a meaningful and enjoyable way π
We warmly encourage families to continue this learning journey at home by talking about road signs, traffic lights, and practicing safe road behaviours together during daily walks and outings.

Here at Nido Werribee, our Kinder Room children have been engaging in a Bee Project ππΌ
Through this project, the children explored the important role bees play in helping flowers grow and supporting our environment. βBees help flowers grow.β πΈ
As part of their learning, the children created their own bee-inspired artwork, using a range of materials to design and construct their very own bees. βWe made our own bees today!β π
This project encouraged curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of nature through hands-on, meaningful experiences.
