Easy salad for a busy Friday. Kale, asparagus, Parmesan, tomato, tuna and mayo. Might be my new fave salad. X

Chocolate Hazelnut Scrolls. 1 cup warm milk into a mixer with a dough hook. Sprinkle over 2 1/2 tsp dried yeast and leave for a few minutes. Then add 4 1/2 cups plain flour, 1/3 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs and 1tsp salt. Mix on low until all combined and looking, well, dough like. π Place the dough into a greased bowl and place in a warm spot. Yes, I put mine in the dryer after a load has just dried. It's lovely and warm. π Leave until doubled in size. Then roll out into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread with Nutella and chopped hazelnuts. Roll up from the long side and cut into 2 inch slices. Arrange in a large cake tin and leave to double in size again. Bake at 185C (370F) for about 20 minutes or until golden and your house/apartment smells devine. Brush with a sugar and water syrup (for that professional gloss!) - just mix some water and sugar together - and then eat. I defy you to eat just one....or two or three! β€

Simple pleasures.... pancakes. 1 cup self-raising flour, 3/4 cup milk, 1 egg, vanilla essence. Whisk all together. Melt some butter in a pan over a low/med heat, pour in some batter, cook for 2-3 mins, flip over and cook for another few mins. Top with butter (of course!), and some maple syrup, jam or chocolate spread. You know, the good stuff. πβ€
