BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION — ONE EXPERIENCE AT A TIME
A look at one of our Teen MMA bouts from our recent Infinite MMA In-House Competition.
These bouts are about building confidence, composure and experience in a safe, controlled environment.
We want them to experience the entire process of competition:
👉The backstage nerves.
👉The warm-up.
👉Hearing their music start.
👉Making the walk to the competition area with a small crowd cheering them on.
👉Listening to their corner.
👉Competing in front of people.
👉Managing the adrenaline.
👉And putting the skills they’ve developed in training into practice under pressure.
The bouts are contested under a modified MMA ruleset with limited head contact, allowing our teens to experience the different phases of MMA while keeping the focus firmly on development.
We also want them to get as much actual competition experience as possible.
That’s why a submission doesn’t necessarily mean their day is finished.
If a submission occurs, the athletes are given a one-minute rest (just as if the round had ended) before coming back out for the next round.
At this stage, the more positive experience these young athletes can accumulate, the better.
Just as importantly, they weren’t left to figure any of this out themselves.
Our teens were stepped through the entire process by two of our top professional fighters, “Diamond” Luke Dally and Harry “The Human Highlight Reel” Webb, alongside members of our adult amateur fight team.
From the backstage warm-up, to preparing to make the walk, to corner advice during the bout and coaching between rounds - our experienced competitors were there beside them every step of the way.
That experience and mentorship is invaluable.
Today it’s an in-house bout in front of a small crowd.
Tomorrow it might be their first external competition.
And years from now, some of these kids may be the ones making the walk under the bright lights.
Confidence comes from experience... and experience has to start somewhere.

Today we hosted a huge in-house competition. Six hours of MMA, wrestling, grappling, and striking action!
We are incredibly proud of every single student who stepped up today. It takes real courage to test yourself physically and mentally in the combat sports arena. Every one of you should be proud of what you accomplished. You are all very special people 🙌
A massive thank you to our staff, coaches, and athletes who have come in to support our students today. We are grateful for your time, generosity, and expertise. You make our gym what it is 🙏❤️

June Gradings!🎗🎉
It was a rainy wintery day outside – but inside these students turned up the heat for our June Grading.
Adopting a martial arts lifestyle is not an easy journey. You have to step out of your comfort zone, test your limits, and acknowledge your areas for improvement. Taking on tough challenges means experiencing failure (at least some of the time) – but that’s why days like these are so important.
We get to celebrate how far you’ve come and the type of success that can’t be seen in a single moment – but only when reflecting on the hard work put in over hours and hours, through weeks and months – and despite the mistakes, the stumbles, the failures… the outcome is there for you to feel within and for your family and friends to see.
We are proud of your amazing progress🙌 Congratulations on an awesome Grading!
A special shout out to our Infinite MMA families ❤ We are grateful for all of the families and friends who make training possible, and who support our students through each and every challenge. Thank you!🫶
And a special shout out to our incredible Coaching team 🙏 We are so grateful to our wonderful coaches who continue to give their kindness, respect and wisdom to our students every week. Thank you!
Classes continue next week. We look forward to seeing you all back on the mat!👊
Who has the best jab in the history of combat sports?

Podium results from Grappling Industries 💪
Matt Bandy - 5-0 🥇GOLD
Absolute dominance. This is what happens when pressure, pace and intent don’t break.
Matt Burch - 3-1🥈 SILVER.
Came up just short in the final, losing by 2 points in a tight match. High-level performance across the board and showed exactly where he belongs.
Different paths, same standard.
We don’t chase wins - we build fighters who can impose them.
See you on the mat, with Matt and Matt tonight 😎
“There is no tomorrow.”
That line from Rocky III isn’t just hype — it’s a standard.
It means:
No waiting.
No “I’ll start next week.”
No coasting through rounds, sessions, or opportunities.
Because in fighting… and in life…
you don’t get guaranteed tomorrows.
This is the philosophy behind how I coach our fight team!
When you step on the mats or into the cage under us,
you’re expected to train like it matters now.
• Every round has intent
• Every rep has purpose
• Every session moves you forward
No wasted time. No half efforts. No excuses.
Because when it’s fight night —
you don’t get to go back and fix what you didn’t do.
You either prepared… or you didn’t.
Say less. Win more.
John ‘War’ Aziawor
Walking out with purpose.
We don’t say much — we just show up, do the work, and let it speak for itself.
When people on the outside start recognising it…
it means the process is working.
Grateful for the team.
Proud of the standard.
Still chasing more.
