What an incredible weekend at the National Championships in Gold Coast!

AIJ was proudly represented by 6 athletes, and every single one of them stepped onto the mat with courage, determination and heart. I am so proud of the way our team fought, showing great technique, resilience and true judo spirit.

All of our athletes brought home medals, except Len, who had a very strong performance in his very first National Championship. After losing his first fight, he came back strongly and won his second match by ippon. Unfortunately, due to a toe injury, he was unable to continue and fight for the bronze medal, finishing the competition in 5th place. We are extremely proud of his effort, courage and fighting spirit.

A huge thank you to all the athletes for trusting the process and giving their best, to the parents for all the support and sacrifices behind the scenes, to our training partners and coaches who help build this team every day, and to our entire AIJ family and community who contribute directly and indirectly to our journey.

Success in judo is never built alone. It takes a village, and we are very grateful for everyone who walks this path with us.

After a big day at the National Championships in Gold Coast, our veterans and senior team celebrated together with an amazing dinner at Casa Brasil.

The food was absolutely delicious and it was the perfect way to finish such a special day for our team. Thank you so much to for sponsoring this dinner and supporting our athletes and the judo community. Your support means a lot to all of us.
