SENIOR SCHOOL | Biology beyond the classroom!
Our YR12 Biology students swapped the classroom for the coastline with an incredible day of fieldwork at Hastings Point. The day kicked off at the Marine Discovery Centre before students headed to the rocky shore to investigate local ecosystems firsthand. Working along transect lines, they collected data on species richness and explored the biotic and abiotic factors shaping the environment. Along the way, they got up close with sea stars, sea cucumbers and sea hares, with migrating whales providing an unforgettable bonus!

After lunch, it was off to the sand dunes to compare disturbed and undisturbed ecosystems and investigate the impact human activity can have on biodiversity and ecosystem health.

A fantastic day of hands-on Biology, real-world learning and time spent together in the great outdoors!

JUNIOR SCHOOL | YR5 Gold Rush Excursion

Our YR5 students stepped back into 1854 for an exciting Gold Rush excursion! Students experienced life on the goldfields as they explored the township, took on different roles, purchased gold licences, traded and searched for gold. It was a fun, hands-on way to bring our learning about the Australian Gold Rush to life.

JUNIOR SCHOOL | Secret Service Day!

Our Junior School students spent the day putting their faith into action and serving our local community in so many wonderful ways. From caring for animals and the environment, to supporting people in need, baking for first responders and bringing joy to children in hospital, our students showed kindness, compassion and a true servant heart.

A huge thank you to our incredible staff, families and community partners who helped make the day possible.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” – Mark 10:45

What a wonderful day of shining the light of Jesus through service!

PATHWAYS | We welcomed a range of university and training providers on site for our Post School Options Expo! It was a fantastic opportunity for students and parents to connect directly with providers, explore courses and pathways, and learn more about their options beyond school.

Four major universities were able to present to year 12s giving more details about early offers, entry pathways and campus life. TAFE, MEGT, Link and Launch giving options and support for those looking at pursuing work, training and apprenticeships.

Thank you to all our providers for supporting our students.
