For fifteen years, Clay at the Precinct has been enabling creativity in all aspects of clay working. Join one of our small friendly and relaxed workshops and get in touch with your inner clay-worker! Absolute beginners to experienced artists are catered for in our well equipped studio. Learn wheel throwing, sculpture, hand building, or slab construction. Personalised tuition is guaranteed with a m

aximum of six participants in each workshop. Classes are held Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Workshops are three hours. We offer ten week semesters, four times per year. The Community Arts Precinct is located in Chermside Street, at Wellington Point in a tranquil parkland setting only 200 metres from the Wellington Point Rail Station

For over a decade, Clay At The Wellington Point Arts Precinct has been enabling excellence in every aspect of working with clay, connecting our community to creativity.

Set in tranquil parkland, our dynamic studio encourages participants to investigate techniques that range from vessels, jewellery and small objects to sculptural and large scale architectural work. We provide the opportunity for interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to ceramic practice.

Absolute beginners to experienced makers are catered for in our well equipped studio. Learn wheel throwing and every hand building technique. Explore surface decoration or develop glazes. Personalised tuition is guaranteed in small, convivial workshops.
