Our wonderful centre are licensed by the Office of Early Childhood Education and Care to provide a high quality educational program. Our Centre caters for up to 118 children per day who are 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Our centre offers before and after school care along with vacation care. We are family owned centre that has been in operation since 1989 and pride ourselves on having an established
centre that has a wonderful reputation. We are registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council and are awaiting assessment under the National Quality Framework. The broad objective of the NQF is to ensure that children in long day care have stimulating, positive experiences that foster all aspects of their development in a safe, healthy environment. It does this by defining quality in long day care and providing a way to measure the quality of care. We provided a funded Queensland Kindergarten Program which is implemented by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. This program is run 5 days a week. Attached below is a copy of the statement of fees for the Kindergarten Program. Food - Our centre provides nutritious food for the children. Children are given morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. We offer hot meals, along with sandwiches, fresh fruit, cheese, slices, scones etc. Babies and toddlers are offered fresh pureed vegetables daily. Children are offered two servings of milk daily to help them meet their dietary requirements. Parent Involvement - Parents and family members are a very important part of our community and we love and value their input. We have a number of special days where parents/families can be part of our centre for the day. These include Mother’s and Father’s day afternoon teas, Christmas parties, Grandparents week and any time we have shows/excursions. We welcome parents any time to be part of our day and contribute to the rooms programs. Staff - We pride ourselves on having long term, experienced staff that are either studying or have qualifications ranging from Certificate III, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas and University Degrees. Our staff are friendly and approachable with many of our staff being parents themselves.
