I am truly saddened by the passing of this glorious woman, who challenged stereotypes and walked her own goshdarned path in whatever footwear brought her joy. I shall remember her as she preferred, as the Book Lady, who gave more than 300 MILLION books to kids worldwide. A free book every month, regardless of income, family makeup, politics or religion, free of charge, free of obligation, to kids from zero to five, anywhere. The streets of heaven have a new angelic pedestrian tonight and long may her legacy last.

You know those days when you've been dancing with your gothic troupe at a wellness expo of a Sunday morning and the tradie you booked for the afternoon cancels on you coz their toddler exploded? You know those days? If you are ever feeling lonely or bored, head on down to Bunnings with a full face of makeup and a hair salad and you will be GIRT with new friends!!

Wowsers! What a weekend!!
Thank you to the ABDC crew for putting on a great weekend full of opportunities for learning, sharing, showing and enjoying!! I loved sharing my Lakshmi Goddess Workshop and performing with my glorious dancers at three of the shows, learning from so many talented teachers and storytellers and connecting with so many beautiful dancers across the weekend!! Here are a few memories!

It's the Sunday before a major bellydance event, so it's obviously time to overthink all the costume choices and start madly creating new things!! PSEWING BEE TIME!!!!

We had a blast dancing at the New Moon Makers Market at Burswood Park tonight. We rocked out to fabulous young live musicians and had a great drill session through all the Goddess Series' to a very eclectic playlist.
Now a hot bath, a fluffy jumper and two purring cats. I love the dancers life!!
