Harp Holiday An interactive gathering of pro harpists, wannabe harpists and "always wanted to try harpists" meeting up to share the joy of their chosen instrument

All techniques, however strange and unruly are equally welcome. Harp Holiday is open to all ages, all sizes, all levels of harpists, or would be harpists. All genres of music is encouraged from Jazz to Chamber Music. On offer is assistance with preparing for auditions, AMEB Harp exams, concert practice, any type of repertoires or just improving your technique plus also learning good practice skill

s or just enjoying a jolly good pluck! You are also welcome to work out a fabulous solo folder for weddings, funerals, functions etc. Work on chord symbols, glisses or improvise. You name it, we encourage it! This year we are incredibly lucky to have Sarah Deere-Jones from Cornwall Harps, England joining us as our very own lever harp specialist. Harp Holiday 2015 is to be held in the beautiful surrounds of the 7 acre Ballymont and stunning Kanimbla View Cottages, in Blackheath over two weeks in January. Meals are included: breakfast, lunch and dinner plus tea, coffee and cakes. Additional gourmet items can be purchased. The event is catered for by Marg's Kitchen. Special diets cannot be provided for however there will be vegetarian options plus gluten free pasta and bread on offer. Check our webpage for more information

HARP HOLIDAY YOUTH PROGRAM for 15 years and under is a 6 day intensive course, led by founding teachers of Sydney Harp School, Julie Kim and Natalie Wong.
(Advanced youth players from age 13 can choose to join the full adult intensive week.)
