Mon - Tues long day program 8:30am-4:06pm
Mon, Tues & Wed short day program 8:30am-2:36pm
Wed, Thurs & Fri short day program 8:30am-2:36pm
Thurs - Fri long day programs 8:30am-4:06pm

🌟 We are incredibly proud to share some very exciting news! 🌟

We have recently completed our Assessment and Rating process and are thrilled to announce that we received an EXCEEDING rating in ALL seven Quality Areas!

This is such a wonderful recognition of the passion, dedication and teamwork that goes into creating a high-quality early childhood experience for our children and families every single day.

A huge congratulations and thank you to our incredible team and kindy community. This achievement belongs to each and every one of you and we couldn't be prouder!

Assessment and Rating is an important part of the Australian early childhood sector, supporting services to reflect, grow and continually improve the quality of education and care they provide.

Our iconic Tiger has been part of Wavell Heights Kindy for more than 40 years, and thousands of little feet have climbed, cuddled, and played beside it over the decades.

As we count down to our 2026 Wavell Heights Kindergarten - OPEN DAY on May 16th, we want to celebrate the memories that make WHK so special.

The Kookaburra Room has been busy diving into all things, well...... Kookaburra!

We’ve been learning about where kookaburras live, what they like to eat, and the unique sounds that make them such iconic Aussie birds.

The children have been creating their own kookaburras, supporting creativity, strengthening fine motor skills, and practising how to follow a procedure step-by-step. So much learning wrapped up in feathers, glue and giggles.
