Through our tailored performing arts program, children learn to express themselves boldly through song, spoken word and purposeful movement. Big things are underway in our village! 🌿🚜✨

If you have peeked outside our rooms lately, you might have noticed some very busy work happening in our yard. We are giving our outdoor play space an exciting overhaul to create an even more inviting, sensory-rich haven for our little adventurers!

Here is a little sneak peek behind the scenes:
▫️ Fresh resurfacing of our soft fall and artificial turf for safe, active movement
▫️ Saying goodbye to older weathered fixtures to make way for refreshed, open discovery zones
▫️ A complete transformation of our bottom sandpit —emptying, relining and refilling with clean sand for digging and creative building

We can’t wait to share the final reveal with our families very soon!

Digging deep into early science, textures and sensory wonder! 🦖🌿

Hands-on sensory play was in full swing as our little learners explored measurement through our prehistoric small-world setup. With trays filled with rich dirt, crunchy leaves, berries, and wooden dinosaurs, our budding archaeologists grabbed their paintbrushes to uncover hidden "fossils" and measure their discoveries step by step.

Over at our creative art station, the exploration continued with loose natural parts - inviting children to touch, sketch and build using textured bark, smooth pebbles, and real cork.

When children learn through touch, they aren't just playing—they are building spatial awareness, fine motor strength, and cognitive connections at their own natural pace.

Big smiles, bright minds and healthy habits! 🦷✨😁

During Dental Health Week, our clever Pelicans took a hands-on dive into the importance of dental hygiene. To make learning interactive and fun, our educators created custom pink gum and white tooth-coloured play dough, giving our little learners the tools to sculpt, count and build their very own smiles.

Through hands-on sensory exploration, our children practised brushing techniques, discussed how nutritious foods keep our teeth strong, and discovered why caring for our smiles is an everyday adventure.

✔ The Truth: Emotional security and social confidence come first.

Before a child can focus on academics, they need to feel secure, heard and capable. When a little one knows how to express their feelings, make friends, and ask for help, classroom learning flows naturally.

At Little Learners, our Start Strong accredited Preschool Programme focuses on the whole child. Through unhurried play, hands-on discovery and direct links to our neighbouring primary school, we give our preschoolers the emotional roots to step into Kindergarten feeling confident, resilient, and excited to learn.

When curiosity meets a spark of light, magic happens! 🦕✨

Our clever Wombat Room learners have been busy exploring the wonder of shadows! By setting up a variety of objects - like their favourite dinosaurs under the light, our little scientists have been examining the unique shapes, silhouettes and patterns they create on the floor.

Watching their excitement unfold as they move objects closer and further away is a beautiful reminder of how powerful child-led discovery can be.

Our educators love facilitating these moments, asking open-ended questions, encouraging predictions, and letting the children's infectious enthusiasm lead the way!
