🌿🌱 Growing a Greener School! 🌱🌿
Last week, our school grounds got a little greener! Our students and parents came together to plant a wonderful selection of native shrubs around the school. 💚
The plants were grown by Latrobe Wildlife Sanctuary and are all sourced from plants Indigenous to our local area. The initiative was funded by Go Green, who also provided people to help us with the planting.
The plants have been carefully selected to create grassland habitat and attract a range of pollinators and wildlife, including butterflies and lizards. 🦋🦎
A huge thank you to all the children and parents who helped out on the day. It was fantastic to see our school community getting involved and helping create a greener, more wildlife-friendly environment for everyone to enjoy! 🌏💚
