🌱 Kindy Uplift Professional Learning Day 🌱

Today, our Leadership Team had the opportunity to attend a Kindy Uplift Training Workshop with Lady Gowrie — and what a valuable day of learning it was!

We explored a range of practical and meaningful areas, including:

🎶 Rhymes, Repetition & Rhythmic Play
💛 Behaviour Support Strategies
🧠 Sensory Processing & Support Strategies

Continuing to develop our knowledge, skills and understanding in these areas allows us to better recognise the individual needs of our children and provide responsive, intentional and inclusive support.
We’re excited to return to Campus, share our new learning with our amazing team and, most importantly, put these enhanced strategies and skills into practice with our children.

Because when we continue to learn, we continue to grow — and when we grow, our children benefit too. 💚

At Hatchlings Early Learning Centre, we are committed to continuous learning and professional growth to ensure we provide the highest quality care and education for every child.

Tonight, our amazing team participated in Active Supervision Training with In Safe Hands QLD, further strengthening their knowledge and understanding of how to proactively supervise children, identify potential risks, and create safe, engaging learning environments.

Professional development opportunities like these are invaluable, as they empower our Educators with current best practice strategies, build confidence in their decision-making, and reinforce our commitment to children's safety, wellbeing, and development. By continually investing in our team's knowledge and skills, we are ensuring that every child at Hatchlings is supported by Educators who are reflective, informed, and dedicated to providing exceptional care.

A huge thank you to In Safe Hands QLD for delivering such an engaging and informative training session. We are excited to continue implementing what we've learned as we strive to provide the very best outcomes for the children and families in our community.

🎨✨ Our little Hatchlings have truly amazed us with their incredible artwork for tonight's Art Expo!

We are so proud of every masterpiece on display. Each creation reflects the children's creativity, imagination, curiosity and unique way of exploring the world through art. We hope our families are just as proud as we are as they admire these beautiful works.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Educators for their passion, creativity and commitment in supporting each Studio to bring these stunning displays to life. Your encouragement has empowered our children to express themselves, explore different artistic techniques and let their inner artist shine.

If you weren't able to make it tonight, or would like another opportunity to admire the displays, our Art Expo will remain set up tomorrow morning for families to enjoy. We encourage you to take your time exploring the artwork with your child and talking about their creative journey. We kindly ask that everyone enjoys the displays with care so they can continue to be appreciated by all.

As we wrap up the final day of the ACA Queensland Conference, our Leadership Team is returning to our campus feeling inspired, motivated, and excited for what's ahead!

Over the past few days, we've had the opportunity to attend a range of incredible workshops and seminars, expanding our knowledge in supporting children's development, embracing neurodiversity, strengthening regulation and wellbeing practices, and building our skills to continue providing the highest quality education and care.

We've also explored an amazing range of resources, equipment, products, incursions and educational programs—and we can't wait to bring some exciting new additions to our campus for our little Hatchlings and their families!

One of the greatest highlights has been connecting and collaborating with passionate Early Childhood Professionals from across Queensland, alongside our wonderful sister campuses, Hatchlings Early Learning Centre Caboolture and Hatchlings Early Learning Rochedale , and spending time with our incredible owners. Opportunities like these remind us of the power of learning, collaboration and shared passion within our profession.

What an inspiring, joy-filled and rewarding weekend it has been. We are so excited to bring back new ideas, fresh perspectives and enhanced practices to benefit our children, families and team.

Our Leadership Team is proudly attending the annual ACA QLD Conference, taking part in a range of inspiring seminars and workshops designed to strengthen our knowledge, skills, and leadership within the early childhood sector.

We are passionate about investing in ongoing professional development and embracing every opportunity to learn, grow, and reflect on best practice. Everything we gain from experiences like this is brought back to our campus to further enhance the quality of education, care, and experiences we provide for our little Hatchlings every day.

Our Bake Sale still has some goodies available but already we have raised $210 for Baby Give Back! Which means as all donations are currently tripled, that we have helped raise $630 for this charity!
