🏐 Big Term for Netball Excellence! 🏐
It’s been an incredible term for our Netball Excellence athletes, with students achieving success at state, national and international level.
⭐ Rhi Harrison attended the Australian Camp at the AIS in Canberra as part of the 17/U Australian Development Squad and also made her debut for the Moreton Bay Pulse Ruby team. A fantastic achievement and a testament to her hard work and dedication.
⭐ Jada Letoa, Natalia Woolley and Jah Moses attended the Queensland School Sport 19 Years Netball Camp in Brisbane, where they trained with some of Queensland’s leading coaches and continued to develop their game.
⭐ Te Aoturoa Pirangi-Pokaia proudly represented the Queensland 15 Years Boys Netball Team at Nationals in July. Not only did he perform strongly throughout the tournament, but he once again earned selection in the Australian Schoolboys Team. Well done, T***s!
⭐ Current students Jada Letoa, Natalia Woolley and Charlise Vercoe, along with former students Ella Vercoe and Ariki, recently represented Australia on an Indoor Netball tour of South Africa, returning home with gold medals. An outstanding achievement!
🏆 Our Open Girls and Open Boys Netball teams also represented Marsden at the Vicki Wilson Cup State Finals in August. With more than 250 schools participating across Queensland, the competition was narrowed down to the 25 regional winners, who battled it out over two days to determine the state’s best schools.
💙 Our Open Girls put together a fantastic campaign, finishing 10th in Queensland.
💛 Our Open Boys continued their strong form, finishing an impressive 4th in the state.
We are incredibly proud of all our athletes for the way they represent Marsden both on and off the court. Their commitment, work ethic and success continue to showcase the strength of our Netball Excellence program. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🏐👏
