PLAY WITH PURPOSE – 2-3 YEARS OLD
The 2-3 year old Begin Bright program is designed for play with purpose
This programme builds on children’s natural curiosity and love of learning. Lessons revolve around stories, craft, songs, exploring and playing. The main focus is to introduce children to age-appropriate concepts. This will give children a solid foundation for learning when they progress through the later levels of Begin Bright programmes and transition to school.
Each lesson includes:-
• Storytime with a well-known children’s book
• Music or nursery rhymes
• Arts and craft activities
• Literacy and numeracy
• Fine and gross motor activities or play-based activities
90 minutes - group of up to 8 - $35.00 per child.
ENRICHED LEARNING PROGRAMME – BEGIN BRIGHT’S LATEST SCHOOL TRANSITION – FOR AGES 3-6 YEARS
The Enriched Learning Programmes are the latest and most comprehensive school preparation resources available on the market. Parents can be assured they are specifically designed to help little learners through teacher-supported play-based learning in the early years as well as help develop the skills children need as they transition into school.
This program is aimed to support children in their transition to school
• This programme helps children to reach key early years learning outcomes
• Incorporates play based, and hands-on group work designed to develop social and co-operation skills
• Craft based and movement activities also enhance physical and fine motor skills
• Weekly literature study with universally loved books like “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”
• Early STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) and literacy-based activities
• These activities introduce reading and writing skills and enhance children’s language skills
• Each week focuses on a letter in the sound order: s, a, t, p, i,n, m, d, g, o, c, e, k, u, r, h, b, f, l, j, v, w, x, y, z, and qu
• Focuses on recognising and writing numbers 1 – 20, and learning to add singledigit numbers
• Incorporates open and extended learning opportunities
• Writing skills continue to be developed, including pencil grip
• Incorporates music and movement
• Develops social, emotional and behavioural skills that children require to transition to school.

PRIMARY BOOSTER CLUB (Begin Bright program)
These lessons comprise of literacy and numeracy and is aimed at enhancing student's learning. The Begin Bright programs are aligned with the Australian Curriculum to support education done at school. They can be delivered in small groups or individually. Our groups are for ages 5-12. These classes include hands on fun activities that link to reading and writing skills, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths), subjects and the arts. The Booster Club programmes encourage children to ask questions, work together, think creatively, solve problems, explore and take calculated risks and discover new ways of doing things. The program is designed to nurture the curiosity of primary school aged-children through various fun and engaging lessons.
Stage 1- 5-7 year olds.
Stage 2- 8-9 year olds and
Stage 3 - 10-12 year olds.

TUTORING
Our program aims to support learning done at school or focus on a specific area of learning. Our sessions are run in either a small group of 3 or one on one.
1 hour session (group of 3) - $40.00
1 hour session (one on one) - $60.00
HOMESCHOOL HUB
These lessons are aimed for homeschooling families who would like their child to participate in a class (or two) a week with a teacher to extend their learning and for a qualified teacher to provide feedback to a parent. These sessions use the Modern Waldorf Curriculum. The Waldorf Curriculum seeks to educate the WHOLE child. It was developed by Rudolf Steiner over 100 years ago and is a process that engages the thinking, feeling and doing. The lessons are fun and engaging! Our groups also give that opportunity for children to interact and engage with each other. Maximum number of 8 students in a group.
3 hour session - (group of 8) $40.00
Students will have two small breaks during these sessions.
We will group students in age and ability groups.
Weekend and Holiday Programs – S.T.E.A.M AND ART LESSONS
These workshops cover a variety of science, technology, engineering and maths topics. Our workshops are based on S.T.E.A.M learning and include topics such as:- Little Scientists, Terrific Technology, Little Artists and much more! The workshops are diverse, ranging from scientific experiments to creative projects and engineering, which develop and support discovery and exploration.
Begin Bright's Art Workshops encourage creativity amongst children. Our workshops are engaging and varied, with lots of variety for all interests and abilities. There are many benefits of art lessons for children include problem-solving abilities, creativity, literacy, fine & gross motor skills, connection, and understanding.
