- SPECIALISED FLAMENCO CHOREOGRAPHER -
Warwick SHS would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Sofia for sharing her passion, talent, and expertise in Flamenco with the Year 11 and Year 12 Dance students over the past five weeks.
Students and staff are grateful for the time, commitment, and dedication Sofia invested in introducing senior students to the artistry, technique, and rich cultural traditions of Flamenco dance. Her professional knowledge and willingness to share her skills provided students with a valuable opportunity to explore a new dance genre and expand their movement vocabulary.
Sofia’s generosity, enthusiasm, and support throughout the workshops have been greatly valued. Her contribution has enriched the Dance program and inspired students to develop a deeper appreciation for this expressive art form.
The Dance Department sincerely thanks Sofia for her contribution and looks forward to incorporating the skills and knowledge gained through these workshops into the end of year showcase in Term 3.

Ahead of the Game is a youth mental health program, teaching players & coaches how to recognise mental health challenges and know where to get help, build mental fitness and strengthen resilience.
This week, the team returned for our second session. Students explored a social story while focusing on resilience, positive mindset, and strategies for responding when things don’t go to plan.
Workshops have been running in classes across our Specialist AFL program because footy is at its best when we have each other’s back on and off the field.
