YOUR INVITATION to the
SESQUICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
for the
ALLAN PUBLIC SCHOOL CIRCA
1872 – 1967
Formerly the Sandy Creek State School.
The school was 150 years old on 13th May, 2022. An invitation is extended to past students and their families; former teachers and their families; and interested members of the Sandy Creek community.
The celebration is planned to acknowledge the school’s contribution to the history of Warwick and surrounds.

9.00am School Parade. (Singing National Anthem,
Notices conducted
by Mr John Raine, OAM).
Welcome & Opening of the Event by
Mr Paul Munson,
Author of “The History of Sandy Creek.”
9.30am March into school.
Talk inside the schoolhouse and conducted tour
of the grounds.
10.30am Repeat of Morning Programme. (Parade)
11.00am Schoolhouse talk and tour of grounds.
Lunch - Food van courtesy of Rotary Sunrise Club or BYO Lunch to enjoy under the trees. BYO chairs.
