The following information has been sent to all schools with 9-12 Years Track and Field competitors:
Glennie is NOT available on Friday, so we have to flip flop the two days to look like this:
• Thursday, August 27 (track events at Glennie, 9 years field events at Glennie);
• Friday, August 28 (field events at O’Quinn Street, 1500m events also at O’Quinn Street)
1. We realise this may impact some students who have prior commitments. For students who may not be able to compete, a Special Consideration Form must be completed and sent by close of business on Wednesday, August 26. Schools have these forms.
2. The program is being updated and this will be emailed shortly to schools, as well as going onto our website.
3. The 1500m events will be run on grass; selectors will adjust the qualifying standards accordingly.
4. Everyone is asked to please park respectfully at The Glennie School on Thursday; there were several vehicles towed from the shopping centre across the road and the bus stops outside Glennie on Herries Street during last week’s 13-19 Trials.
