These incredibly talented young girls will be singing at Fifteen Minutes of Fame at Crossley tomorrow night, Friday, May 2 at 7:30pm.

They will spoil you with a range of beautiful vocal pieces, and i am so proud of them all!

Such an honour to be performing as Diane in “Come From Away”.
What makes this even more special is the opportunity to share it with one of my ex-students, the insanely talented Eloise Smpsn 💛💙💚

✨Stop the world - Eloise and Maja are equally excited to be playing Diane in Come From Away!✨

🧳Eloise first joined us in 2005 for 'The Music Man', and while being a musical efficionado her whole life, Maja found Holiday Actors in 2012 as a vocal director for 'South Pacific' - and neither of them have been too far away from us ever since!

✈Eloise's favourite part of the show is everything that happens in the bar, but Maja can't go past our opening number Welcome To The Rock. Maja can't pick a favourite person to watch because she loves everyone, but Eloise has a special spot in her heart for Vanessa as Beverley/Annette.

🎟Maja has a Bachelor of Music Majoring in Classical Voice, and Eloise brings a wealth of dance training and knowledge to the table!

I am thrilled to be offering piano 🎹 and singing 🎶 lessons at St Pius X, in Warrnambool again this year.

I currently have one time slot available in my teaching week beginning in term 1, 2025. Lessons are conducted during class time.

Meet Macie - the music lesson cat. Macie often graces us with her presence during lessons. If I’m teaching piano, she insists on sitting behind me on the chair, or next to the student in the piano stool. If I’m teaching singing, she loves to roll and rub against everyone’s legs, and claim them as her own humans!

We love Macie Grey! (Bonus points if you pick up on her name reference 😉 )

When I’m not teaching, I’m busy rehearsing!

Are we ready for a lesson in Being Mrs Banks? Maja Pearson is here!

This is Maja's 5th show with Warrnambool Theatre Company - you may recognise her as the vocal director from The Wizard of Oz (2023) or Grizabella in Cats (2022). Maja's favourite scene as Winifred Banks is the "bustling first scene of Cherry Tree Lane - everything is so busy and hectic!" but she can't resist the charms of her favourite number, Step In Time.

Her favourite character AND actor is Danielle Gladman as Mrs Brill, the housekeeper, because "she's so funny in her physicality and facial expressions". Maja cannot wait for the audience to see "the incredible choreography that Eloise has put together" and she is "so thankful" that the rehearsal hall now has heating after it's big renovation!
